Lineage It was awarded in October 2012 in Costa Rica. Farruquito invited Karime Amaya, great-niece of the famous dancer Carmen Amaya to share the stage with him.

Giraldillo Award of Dance at the Seville Flamenco Biennial in 2014 with the show Pinacenda.

FAMILY

Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya known as Farruquito is the grandson of the famous flamenco dancer Farruco and the current continuator of this saga.

He is the singer's son Juan Fernández Flores “El Moreno” and the dancer Rosario Montoya Manzano “La Farruca”, “He is the eldest of four Antonio brothers.”El Farru", Manuel "The folder" and Happiness.

From his first proposal Flamenco Roots Farruquito has been the composer of the lyrics and music that sound in his shows.

 

The Academy of Music awarded him for his lyrics “Dulce canela” from the album Maria of Pastori Girl and for the sound of his feet on the album Homenaje a Jeros.

His music reflects the imprint of his experiences and the purity of where it comes from. It is full of messages and refers to the things he loves.
